Inspired by long beach walks and the ever-changing weather along the Cornish and Devon coast, this painting captures the magic and stregth of the British seaside out of season. Coast paths, shared flasks of tea, wild swimming, and the simple joy of fresh sea air are woven into the work.
Painted in 2026 using signature pastel colours and bold mixed media to express movement, wind, shifting light, and weather rolling in from the Atlantic based on the many sketches and moments captured from across the bay, in the sea and off the rocks.. The piece celebrates the freshness, freedom, and restorative calm of coastal life.
